Are you open on public holidays?

No, we do not open on public holidays, but staff are available for emergency calls at all time by calling (08) 8562 3399.

What are your Terms & Conditions?

What constitutes a full-day hire?

A full-day hire is 24 hours. This is calculated from the time of hire until the return of the hired equipment at the same time the following day.

What constitutes a half-day hire?

A half-day hire is four hours from collection to the return of the equipment on the same day. In the event that the equipment is hired overnight, the daily hire rate will apply.

What happens if I need to Cancel my Hire

As a customer you may only cancel your hire reservation over the phone at any time prior to the hire commencing. Where delivery has been requested and cancellation is inside 2 hours of the start date/time a delivery / labour charge will apply. When the driver has loaded or left the branch. The amount charged will not exceed the quoted amount for delivery. Barossa Valley Hire also reserve the right to on-charge any other legitimate costs incurred following a cancellation.

Upon cancellation Barossa Valley Hire will refund any deposit taken minus the above cost if applicable

Does Barossa Valley Hire attend to afterhours call outs?

After hours call outs may be arranged by calling (08) 8562 3399. A call out fee and labour cost may be incurred. Customers are requested to obtain information on any charge that may be applicable at the time of their enquiry.

Do you deliver plant and equipment?

Barossa Valley Hire owns and operates a range of tilt and flatbed trucks, from 1.5 tonne to 14 tonne tilt trucks and several trailers that are used for the delivery and collection of plant and equipment. Prescribed cartage rates will apply. Customers are requested to obtain a quotation from our helpful staff prior to confirming arrangements for delivery and collection of plant and equipment.

What are your payment terms and conditions?

Barossa Valley Hire is pleased to provide credit applications to those customers wishing to establish an account for regular hire of plant and equipment. All customers are required to make payment in full on the day of hire if credit terms have not been previously established and agreed upon.

Does Barossa Valley Hire provide tow balls for trailers?

Barossa Valley Hire is unable to provide tow balls for hire. All customers are required to have a tow bar fitted with a 50mm tow ball if hiring a trailer.

Does Barossa Valley Hire provide ropes and straps to secure loads?

Barossa Valley Hire is unable to provide ropes and straps to secure loads. All customers are required to provide appropriate aids to safely secure the weight of plant and equipment that is hired.
